These are the service providers that may process personal data for VATcube Accounts on behalf of VATcube Ltd. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We tell our customers by email before we add or replace one.
Hosting
- Who: (name of the hosting company, decision needed)
- What: the servers that run VATcube Accounts, its databases and the local backups.
- Where: (country of the data centre)
Stripe
- Who: Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland.
- What: card payments for subscriptions, and for client invoices when a company switches card payments on. Card numbers go straight to Stripe.
- Where: the European Union, with transfers to Stripe, Inc. in the United States under the standard contractual clauses.
Email delivery
- Who: (the SMTP provider set on Settings, Email, decision needed)
- What: sends account, invoice, reminder and payslip emails.
- Where: (country)
Mistral AI
- Who: Mistral AI SAS, France.
- What: reads invoices and receipts into figures and suggests the account. A company's invoices are sent only while it has AI reading on (My company, AI usage), and the figures are checked by a person before they are used.
- Where: the European Union.
Backblaze
- Who: Backblaze, Inc.
- What: holds encrypted copies of the backups, when switched on. The encryption key stays on our server.
- Where: the data centre region chosen on Settings, Backups.
Dropbox
- Who: Dropbox International Unlimited Company, Ireland.
- What: holds encrypted copies of the backups, when switched on. The encryption key stays on our server.
- Where: as set by the Dropbox account, with transfers covered by the standard contractual clauses.
